Worst Night Leads to Best Day

After taking my antibiotics last night my uvula got really swollen all night i tried gargling etc to make it go down and nothing was working. By the time it reached twelve hours of being swollen I had tried every homeopathic remedy and taken a Benadryl worrying it was a reaction to my drugs. My parents initially felt I was overreacting that took a look and realised that it was affecting my breathing etc and called surgeon and doctor than took me to the ER. I don't know where all of Calgary was on a Monday morning but I was really happy that they were not on the road or in the ER and I was seen pretty quickly. I panicked a little bit when they put me in a special isolation chamber which had a contamination shower and then they made me wear a gown. I was very worried at this point, turns out I'm just stupid and they put me in there to prevent me from being exposed to infections...dur. The doctor was a bit of a jerk but he told me I was fine and not to worry but I needed to drink lots of cold things and eat freezies and popsicles etc (something the mother had been lecturing me to stop doing). I was quite happy to hear the news and went home...still swollen...and got a big slurpee. Between slurpee and honey (amazing by the way) my uvula went down and within an hour or so I was feeling 100% and ate and tonight I ate the same dinner as my parents with the exception of the meat (but thats cause I'm vegetarian anyways)and desert. I have been popping frozen blueberries all day and am feeling amazing. So day 6 went from the worst to the best day with honey and a slurpee...feeling pretty good.
